Started a part time job in a law firm library

My first library job! I did volunteer in my daughter's school library last year and shelved books and helped prepare new books for shelving. I actually found the library job through my school's career center website. I can honestly say that I have NEVER been interested in working in this field and I hope that it's okay. I just want to gain practical experience and learn as much as I can. The librarian there is super nice, easygoing, laid back, flexible, and is willing to let me do other things besides the basics as I learn (research). Right now it seems quite daunting - a whole new language and world. Wish me luck!
