Summer Lovin'

It's more like -- I'm lovin' summer. Sleeping late and staying up late. Movies, friends, sewing. . .

Graduate school really took away a huge chunk of my life, and I didn't really realize it until now. I have arranged to take a couple of summer classes, but they only last one month. Then, I will take three classes in the fall and GRADUATE in December.

I am leaving in about two weeks for ALA, and I would really like to meet up with any of you who are going. I will post something to the forum next week about DC, and maybe we can find some time for a drink or two.

I totally understand your summer-lovin phase. I'm in the exact same boat. Couple classes this summer, three in the fall then BLAM! I'm done in December. It's exciting and scary all at once. Have fun at ALA-- I'm so jealous because a lot of my friends at work get to go to a "gala" where they announce our Library of the Year award. I've never been to a "gala." :o(

It's been pretty dead around here, but I think that's because many are trying to NOT think about school (I know I am- I start again next week.)

I can't believe ALA is in 2 weeks. I really need to decide what I'm going to. I'll be getting there Thursday and leaving Tuesday.
