Wow. San Diego is wonderful! I had a great time at the conference. Southern California librarians got CLASS.
There were so many informative sessions; so many smart folks attended. Above all, it really struck me how much the librarians cared about their job and students and learning.
Dr. Pat Wolfe was the keynote, and although she said she had never spoken to librarians before, she hit the sweet spot. She discussed the latest brain research, and how that might affect learning and teaching.
My poster session went great. I was nervous, but it all happened so fast that I didn't have time to fret.

I don't know how many of my handouts were taken, but the Moo cards flew like cash! I made up a batch with San Diego scenes on the front, my contact info on back. Everyone loved them.
I want to emphasize the care and kindness exhibited by the LOEX organizers and the Bahia resort. It was a great experience.
