But barely. I realize I haven't posted in....forever, prior to leaving for my month-long study abroad trip to England I think. Wow. We've got a bunch of librarian openings at our library, which means I've been working extra hours. I've also been the lucky one to become the Children's alternate associate, which means I spend an awful lot of my time at the children's desk these days. So now that school's "out" for summer....well actually until June11th, I started working on my portfolio. I'm using SeaMonkey to put it together- and I use updated web browsers, so when I'm working on it from home, well it looks fantastic.

Then I get to work and start looking at it and it looks like crap. This is because the fancy Futura Hv font I use doesn't show up in old IE browsers. I know I'll probably end up switching over to a new (not so fancy..booooo) font, but it's frustratin

I've been addicted to Brotherhood 2.0-- this YA author (John Green) started communicating with his brother (Hank Green) via weblog, and they've agreed to keep doing it for a year. I have created Google Homepages for my mom and my dad. Providing tech support via telephone, my mom (who recently learned how to include attachments to email) now has a personalized Google homepage, complete with cat pictures of the day, the weather at home and where she typically vacations, etc.
