I live in Oakland, have a degree in poetry, am an ex-English teacher, work at a bookstore, and am an avid martial artist.

Why did you choose library science?

I suppose for a few reasons: I like to help people, I like to be involved in educational processes, and I like to organize (life-long comic collector). Also, unlike teaching, when I get off work, I like my time to be my own. LIS seems to offer all of the above.
